The best brake controller for your 2007 Land Rover Range Rover is the Curt Echo Mobile # C51180 since it doesn't require that you find the factory wiring in your vehicle; it will simply plug into the 7 way connector on the back of your vehicle and is controlled via your Android 4.4 (or higher) or iOS 8.0 (or higher) smart phone. This is a proportional brake controller that can be used on trailers with up to 2 axles and is the easiest to install brake controller we have to offer. I especially... view full answer...
With the part # 119250KIT you have to pull out the wiring of the vehicle to access the wires that lead to the taillights, similar to what you saw in the video you mentioned. Where this kit makes thing is easier is that instead of having to use a quick-connect to splice in to the wire once you have found the one you need by testing, you instead attach one of the black sensors of the kit around the wire.
Easiest way to see how this installs is to check out the install video I attached that... view full answer...
If the hitch on your 2005 Range Rover is a Class III or higher hitch with a 2 inch receiver then you can use any compatible ball mount with the correct rise or drop required to tow your trailer level. To measure for the correct rise or drop needed, park the trailer and vehicle on level ground and then unhook from the trailer. Measure from the ground to the top of the receiver opening on the vehicle. Then measure from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler with the trailer level.

Once installed, this will give you a sturdy roof rack system with... view full answer...
First, using a brake controller is a good idea because without using one, the weight and momentum of the trailer will keep pushing the vehicle forward when braking. This will increase wear and tear on your Land Rover and could push you right into an intersection. Braking would need to start sooner and will last longer since the vehicle will be braking for 2 instead of just slowing and stopping itself.
For a brake controller I recommend the Tekonsha P2, # 90885, because it is reliable,... view full answer...
For your 2002 Land Rover Range Rover with factory raised rails we have the Inno Roof Rack part numbers # INB147 and # INFR which is a confirmed fit. It clamps and wraps around the rail and does not require a mounting hole at all. view full answer...
I have everything that you will need to install a 7-way trailer connector on your 2008 Land Rover Range Rover HSE but they do not make any direct plug and play kits if that is what you are looking for and you will need to use an adapter. For starters, you will first need to hardwire a 4-way trailer connector into your tail lights and for this I recommend using the Vehicle Wiring Harness Kit part # C59496. Once this is installed you will then need to use a 4 to 7-way adapter like the 7-Way... view full answer...
Anytime the weight of the trailer is over half the weight of the towed vehicle it's strongly recommended you install a brake controller. In the event you need to make an emergency stop a brake controller makes a huge difference.
Since you have a 7-way installed already the easiest solution is the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180. Basically this just plugs into an active 7-way and once synced to your smart phone is ready to tow. No lengthy install or complicated wiring at all! I attached... view full answer...
The Curt Upgraded Circuit Protected Wiring Harness # C56496 you were looking at is a universal splice in wiring harness and as such it will work just fine in your 2010 Land Rover Range Rover HSE non sport.
You will need to use install kit # 55151 to wire the harness to the positive terminal of your battery.
I included video reviews of the products mentioned for you to take a look at. view full answer...
It's not common for hyper-flash to occur on a trailer but this comes down to which trailer wiring harness is installed on the tow vehicle. If you are tied into the vehicles tail light circuits as opposed to a tow package port then hyper-flash is possible on the trailer. In order to fix this you can indeed use a set of resistors, the LED Light Bulb Load-Resistor Kit part # DI34ZR. view full answer...
The easiest to put on and take off roof rack for your 2011 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is the SeaSucker Monkey Bars # 298-SX6000B. They mount on the roof with vacuum cups so they're about as universal as you can get. I've linked a video of another SeaSucker on a VW bus so you can see just how strong the vacuum cups are. It's pretty impressive. view full answer...

It sounds like you have the 2011 Land Rover Range Rover Sport HSE.
For this model vehicle Curt has a 2 inch trailer hitch available # 13456. The only catch is if you have a full size spare below your vehicle, after the installation of the hitch you will no longer be able to store it there. I have linked some roof mounted spare tire racks to this page for you to check out.
A bike rack can mount directly into the 2 inch receiver but it sounds like you would prefer to mount a bike rack... view full answer...
Yes, the Draw Tite hitch part # 75229 does fit your 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport diesel that has the spare that is stored inside the vehicle. The spare only affects the fit of the hitch if it's one that mounts under the vehicle. view full answer...
Your 2012 Land Rover Range Rover HSE having a 7-way connector does not mean it has a brake controller installed. It is a good thing it has a 7-way as that makes installing a controller easy, but yours would only have trailer lighting options active currently.
For a brake controller you need an install harness and the controller itself.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it... view full answer...
